spent five days in an rv in the heart of death valley. ive never been to ladakh, but i imagine the landscapes will be very similar. vast expanses of nothingness with a panoramic 360 degree view of the valley. undertook some rather bol treks, one being to a rock in the middle of a river. the highlight of the trip was spending a night under the moonlight at badwaters, the lowest point below sea level in the western hemisphere. the valley shone in the horizon while we camped on a vast flatland.
